Enrollment, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Enrollment in ON the GO and private In-Homes is on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment requires both a completed Registration Form and Payment received by Clever Canine, LLC. You will also be required to provide proof of vaccinations before or at the first session in order to participate. For all sessions Rabies are required and Bordetella is recommended.  Your appoinment will be confirmed by email. Please do not assume you are scheduled without a confirmation.

Cancellations
Your appointments are very important to us, they are reserved especially for you.  Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.  We understand that sometimes adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. 

For On the Go sessions, if the minimum enrollment for the session you are registering for is not met, you will be notified and given the option to select another session, or have your payment returned to you.

Refunds
Our sessions are small in order to provide personal attention to each attendee.  Because your registration holds one of those few spaces in On the Go for you, changes or refunds will only be provided if you notify us at least 3 days prior to the start of the session. Please call us to cancel and reschedule your appointment within 48 hours.  Please call us if your dog is unable to attend class  due to illness or injury.  If within 24 hours you will be able to rescheduled without a fee.  If less than 24 hrs, you will be charged a $25 late cancellation fee for an On the Go package or $100 for an In-Home package.

Attendance
Attendance at all sessions is important for both you and your dog. Each session builds on the lessons learned in the previous meeting.
Only healthy dogs should participate in a session, If your dog is ill, please contact us.  Refunds are not available for missed classes due to your dog being in heat.

Children in Class
Our sessions are geared for the entire family. Children are welcome as long as they are well-behaved and are not disruptive during the session. Anyone under 18 must have an adult attend each session with them and they must be under the supervision of an adult at all times. Children under 8 years old should have a second adult present to supervise them during class. Children must not approach or pet any dog other than their own in the session unless the dog’s owner gives permission AND the child is supervised by their parent and the dog’s owner.

Dog Behavior in Class
All dogs in a session must be under control of their owners. If a dog has behavior issues that are disruptive or dangerous, if your dog shows aggression toward other people or dogs, then private training and behavior modification training may be more appropriate for you and your dog. We reserve the right to refuse admission to (or excuse from an On the Go session any dog that exhibits any inappropriate behavior for a public group class setting.

Disruptive Behavior
We reserve the right to refuse admission to (or excuse or end from a session  any person that exhibits any inappropriate or disruptive behavior during that session. We use positive reinforcement training methods that are gentle and rewarding for both you and your dog. Harsh corrections or intimidating training will not be tolerated.

No Show Policy: Group Classes
A "no show" is someone who misses an appointment without calling 24 hours in advance to cancel. The
first failure to show up at the time of a scheduled appointment will be
excused and no charges will be applied.  Any additional "no show" will
result in a fee of $25.00 for regular appointments and $50.00 for
